Lens Holder Folder (LHF)

Lens Holder and Lens Holder Folder are made in Polypropylene that can be steam sterilised. It safely holds the Hydrophilic Soft Acrylic IOL in solution, packed in its LHF Holster covered by a “Steril-Up®” aluminium lid.
Because of the smooth lateral pressure, the practitioner or medical personnel can easily fold the hydrophilic IOL into the optimal position when using a Lens Holder Folder.
A “click” will keep the IOL safely and steadily folded until held by the insertion tweezers for direct insertion into the patient’s eye or into an injection cartridge.

Available in colour the O&O mdc Lens Holder and Lens Holder Folder can be dispatch in natural, blue or green. Colorants used are stabile FDA approved pigments.

LHF Holster

The LHF Holster is made in steam resistant homopolymer Polypropylene and can be covered by a “Steril-Up®” aluminium lid. It safely maintains the Soft hydrophilic Acrylic IOL placed in its LHF in solution.
The LHF Holster inner glass polished shape hold the Lens Holder Folder (therefore the hydrophilic IOL) in perfect position during sterilisation and transportation.
Made to resist to the high counter pressure of an air-steam mix autoclave, it can be used safely in all steam sterilisation cycle time.

Foldable IOL Packaging:

The Holster (containing the hydrophilic lens) sealed with a “Steril-Up®” aluminium lid can be individually packed in an specific Polypropylene Blister sealed with a steam resistant Tyvek lid (Coated 24 ALP).
This packaging ensures perfect sterile conditions and is small enough to be packed together with an Injection cartridge. It also affords an ease of use and provides excellent presentation of the Device to your clients.
